Text Reflection
This is how my text reflection looks:

Step 1: Make a fairly large image document, this is because you need room to reflect the text.
Step 2: Have all of your text effects on your image. Write out your site name (or whatever you make be reflecting) and go to
Layer >>
Layer Style >>
Blending Options and choose all of your settings. For this I used
Drop Shadow,
Gradient Overlay,
Pattern Overlay and
Stroke (See my Simple Support Code Image Tutorial for some ideas on how to do all of those).
Step 3: Go to
Layer >>
Merge Visible.
Step 4: Duplicate the layer after merging it.
Step 5: After duplicating it, you have to flip the image, so go to
Edit >>
Flip Vertical. Line up the texts and make sure the duplicated layer is completely under the first layer, but still lining up the same.
Step 6: Now change the layer to
Overlay and the
Opacity to 50%.
Step 7: Make sure if your layer is a text layer, raster it so you can actually work with it.
Step 8: Now use the eraser tool and make it the size of the text you have. Go over the bottom of the second layer's text, only erasing a small bit of the bottom text.
Step 9: Leave the background transparent and do not flatten the image or you will only be able to put your text on a white page for it to look alright. Save it as a
.png for the transparency to stay the same, that way you could put the image on any color background and it will show up behind the image as well.
